DHI received this letter from a client's wife in April, 2008:
We received notice today that R. has been awarded disability certification from Social Security. I just wanted to say again, thank you so much to each and every one of you who helped with our case. We feel that everyone we dealt with went "above and beyond the call of duty." You were always so patient and responsive when we had questions. It has indeed been a long, trying battle, but well worth it, if for nothing else, for R.'s self-esteem. He feels now that he has been validated with friends and family, even though I know from talking with all of our family and friends that they are well aware of the challenges he faces on a daily basis. For some reason, it has helped him to know he has "legally" been determined to have these disabilities.
Thanks so much for all of the hard work and effort that everyone put into this for us. I know you handle many, many cases, and we are just one in the crowd. But I want to say on a personal note that we are so very thankful to have had your help. Even though the experience has been trying, to say the least, your knowledge and experience have made each step a little easier to deal with, knowing that we had you guys behind us taking care of the details, large and small.
At any rate, I just wanted to send my thanks to all of you once again.
